Be Careful With Your Gift Card
The management at Liberty Midlands Mall would like to make all of its shoppers who purchase or receive a gift card aware of special precautions that need to be taken before using the card at any of the outlets at the mall.
1 - Sign the back of your card. This will prevent someone from swopping your card for another card without you realizing it. Check your signature on the back of your card when making a purchase, especially when receiving your card back from any cashier.
2 - Keep your gift card slip with the card number and total amount of the card purchased. Should we pick up any discrepancies you will be able to check your gift card number to ensure it is the gift card you bought.
3 - If you notice any irregularities, report it immediately. Inform the Customer Care Counter or contact Centre Management on 033 341 9570.
4 - Destroy your card personally once it is depleted. Do not give your card to a teller or a stranger in a store to throw away on your behalf.
Please be aware that Liberty Midlands Mall is not accountable for:
- gift card fraud
- the loss of a gift card
- gift cards that have been stolen
Liberty Midlands Mall is able to stop a card immediately once reported and will be able to issue a new card to the customer, but only with the existing balance that is reflected on the card when reported. In order to reissue a new card, the customer is required to produce proof of purchase or receipt from the gift card and their ID. Liberty Midlands Mall is not liable to reimburse any money lost before reporting the gift card in cash or on the new card. Expired cards can be reissued but customers are once again requested to produce proof of purchase or a receipt and their ID. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift cards can be purchased from the Customer Care Desk in any denomination from R50 – R2500. They can be used at any of the shops, restaurants or cinemas in the Centre. Different amounts can be purchased using the same card at multiple stores. The Gift card is also redeemable at any of Liberty Properties’ seven Shopping Centres namely Sandton City shopping Centre, Eastgate, Nelson Mandela Square, Alberton City Shopping Centre, Liberty Promenade Shopping Centre, Greenacres and Liberty Midlands Mall.
It is the Gift of choice and a special way to spoil someone!
CHECK YOUR GIFT CARD BALANCE
Do you have a Liberty Midlands Mall Gift Card and are not sure of what your balance is? Now you can easily check your own gift card balance online. All you have to do is:
1)Log onto www.whatsonmycard.com
2)Enter your card number.
3)Answer a security question.
4)Then click on “fetch balance”.
It is that simple!
Gift Card are available at the Customer Care Counter in the Centre Court of Liberty Midlands Mall.
